Ind vs Aus, 4th ODI: India lose 4th ODI by 25 runs

Australia staged spectacular comeback to beat India by 25 runs in the fourth ODI. 

India, chasing a target of 349, were on well on course with Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan having scored centuries and the team total being 277/1. The visitors then lost nine wickets for 46 runs to surrender the fourth ODI by 25 runs against Australia and trail 4-0 in the series.

This will be the Sixth time that the World T20 will be played where 16 cricket teams from all over the world will fight to take the world cup for the shortest format of the game. This time around India will be the country which will be acting as the hosts to the ICC tournament. It will be for the 1st time that the country will be hosting the major ICC event without any collaboration.

In the world cup top 8 teams will get the direct qualification to the Super 10 round while the bottom 2 ranked teams will join in the Associate members to qualify for the qualification round. The tournament is set to be played from 11th March to 3rd of April.

Nepal to warm up with games against Sri Lanka, Pakistan

Dec 8, 2015- Nepal will prepare for their ICC Under-19 World Cup in Bangladesh with official warm-up matches against Pakistan and Sri Lanka, the International Cricket Council (ICC) announced in its website on Monday.

Nepal are pitted in Group D against India, Australia and New Zealand in the January 27-February 14 tournament. Before going into their Group of Death games, Nepal will know what to expect in the tournament when they play Pakistan on January 23 and Sri Lanka, both Test-playing nations like their opponents in their pool. The warm-up games will be an opportunity for Nepal to prepare themselves better for the tournament proper.

Nepal will open their World Cup campaign with a game against New Zealand and play Australia the very next day before completing their group campaign with a match against India on February 1.

The 16 teams have been divided into four groups of four each, with the top two from each group advancing to the Super League stage and the bottom two to feature in the Plate Championship.

Apart from the 10 Test-playing countries, six Associate and Affiliate members including Nepal, Afghanistan, Canada, Fiji, Namibia and Scotland  have made it to the Finals from their respective regional qualifying tournaments.

२४ बैशाख, क्वालालाम्पुर । मलेसियामा बुधबार सम्पन्न एसीसी पि्रमियर लिगमा नेपाल उपाधि बिजेता त बन्न सकेन नै, दोस्रो स्थान पनि सुरक्षित गर्न सकेन । कहिल्यै नहारेको ओमानसँग हार्नु र हङकङसँग राम्रो रन बनाउन नसक्नु एकातिर समस्या थियो भने अन्तिम खेलमा चीर प्रतिद्वन्द्वी अफगानिस्तानसँग निकै ठूलो अन्तरले हार्नुपर्‍यो ।

टी-२० बिश्वकपमा अफगानिस्तानलाई हराएको हुनाले पनि नेपालले उसलाई निकै दबाबमा राख्ने अपेक्षा गरिएको थियो । तर, त्यसो हुन सकेन । एसीसीको समग्र प्रर्दशनलाई कप्तान पारस खड्काले चाहिँ कसरी विश्लेषण गरिरहेका छन् ? खेल सकिएपछि मैदानमा अनलाइनखबरका लागि राजकुमार श्रेष्ठले गरेको कुराकानीको संक्षेप-

नेपालले नजित्नुको कारण के हो ? आज ब्याटिङ चलेन, पानीले अवरोध गर्यो र लक्ष्य पनि धेरै भयो कि ?

टार्गेट त ठिकै थियो । पानीले अलिकति डिस्टर्व गर्‍यो । ब्याटिङको सुरुवात पनि राम्रो हुन सकेन । अन्तिममा रन रेटको कुरा पनि आयो । हङकङ र आजको खेलमा पानीले गर्दा रन रेट राम्रो हुन सकेन । ओभर घट्नासाथ रन रेट घट्यो र दुर्भाग्यवस अंक समान भए पनि हामी तेस्रो भयौं । आज पूरै खेल खेल्न पाएको भए रन रेट राम्रो हुन्थ्यो कि । तर, व्याटिङ हुन सकेन ।

समग्रमा यो प्रतियोगिता कस्तो रहृयो ?

च्याम्पियन हुने लक्ष्य त पूरा भएन तर, हामी एसीसी दुई दिवसीय च्याम्पियनसिपका लागि छनोट भएका छौं । सोमपालले राम्रो गरे । आरिफले पनि राम्रो गरे । सबैले ठिकठिकै गरेका छन् । ओमानविरुद्ध र आजको खेलबाहेक । ओमानसँगको खेलमा पनि एक-दुईवटा निर्णय हाम्रो पक्षमा गएन । तर, हामीले जुनखालको क्रिकेट खेलेका छौं, राम्रो खेलेका छौं । आज भने राम्रो हुन सकेन । जे होस्, यो प्रतियोगिताबाट लिनुपर्ने राम्रा कुराहरु धेरै छन् ।

यो प्रतियोगिता नेपालको तयारी पनि नपुगेको हो कि ?

त्यस्तो होइन । तयारी भनेको जहिले पनि हुन्छ । हामीले जति अभ्यास गर्‍यौंं, राम्रै क्रिकेट खेल्यौं । दुर्भाग्यवस प्रतियोगिता जित्न सकेनौं । तर, यो प्रतियोगिताको फम्र्याट नै यस्तै हो कि हरेक खेल उत्तिकै महत्वपूर्ण थियो । हरेक रन र विकेट त्यतिकै महत्वपूर्ण थियो । हामीले सक्दो प्रयास गरेको हो । तर, सधैं रिजल्ट हाम्रो पक्षमा हुँदैन ।

अब, नेपाल छनोट भएको एसीसी च्याम्पियनसिप बाहेक अरु प्रतियोगिता के-के छन् ?

अब हामीलाई एक्सपोजर जरुरी छ । बाहिरका टिमलाई बोलाएर हुन्छ कि खेलाडीहरुलाई बाहिर पठाएर हुन्छ, निरन्तररुपमा खेलाडीहरुलाई एम्सपोजरको जरुरी छ । राम्रो सुविधाहरुमा राम्रो टिमहरुसँग खेलेर जति धेरै अभ्यास गर्छौं, त्यति नै सुधार हुन्छ । हाम्रो अब अफ सिजन छ । त्यसले कमजोरीहरु हटाउन केन्दि्रत हुनुपर्छ ।

व्यक्तिगतरुपमा तपाईको कुनै अन्तराष्ट्रिय क्लबहहरुसँग कुरा भइरहेको छ ? ट्वान्टी-२० विश्वकप खेल्ने क्रममा आईपीएलको पनि चर्चा भएको थियो ?
